WHO'S WHO...

DEAN SWANN (Hedwig/Tommy Gnosis)
I had no idea what I was getting into.
It was a Monday night in May 1999. I was performing with a national children's theatre tour. In a different city every morning, I put on a big animal head and danced around lip-syncing to the thrill of elementary school kids across the country. I was in New York City as a working actor, but as far from my dreams of Broadway stardom as I could get. I could have stayed in the hotel that night with my castmates and watched the series finale of Melrose Place. Instead, I purchased a ticket to Hedwig and the Angry Inch, one of the few shows playing on Monday night. The guy at TKTS described it as a punk rock fashion show. I had no idea what to expect. I will never forget the experience. From the box office to the final bows, I went on a transformational sonic and emotional journey. And, yes, I bought the t-shirt. So now I find myself trying to do the same for you. No pressure. If you don't know the story, expect the unexpected. If you know the story, then lift up your hands!
In addition to his time entertaining the kiddies, Dean's performance experience ranges from Rodgers and Hammerstein musical classics to a Stevie Nicks tribute band. His resume lists national tours of the United States and Japan  ranging from A Christmas Carol to Jesus Christ, Superstar;  regional theatre credits include favorite roles like "Charlie Brown" in You're A Good Man Charlie Brown, and "Brad Majors" in The Rocky Horror Show. This time I sing for Ashley.

LORI NUTI (Yitzak)
Lori's impressive list of musical theater credits include leading roles in Grease (Rizzo), Pippin (Catherine), Nunsense (Sr. Mary Amnesia), and Godspell (Robin) among others. She has also been featured regionally in productions of Jesus Christ Superstar, Into The Woods, Sweeney Todd, and Red, Hot, and Cole!. In addition to holding a B.M. in Music Therapy, Lori is an accomplished classical singer. Her operatic credits range from Cosi Fan Tutti (Despina) to The Telephone (Lucy). She hopes you enjoy her testosterone-infused performance!

JAY COKER (Hedwig Understudy/Alternate)
Jay's credits include productions of Mister Roberts (Ensign Pulver), The Harry and Sam Dialogues (Sam), Dracula (Renfield), The Odd Couple (Vinnie), and Death Trap (Sydney). My interest in the music industry began at the age of 15 when I joined my first band playing the local gig scene. As a native of "MANCHESTER ENGLAND ENGLAND" I played on stages graced by such bands as the Beatles and Oasis. Before moving to America I went to University to study Sound Design and Engineering and graduated with distinction. I decided after completing this course to move to the U.S. where I pursued my career in music and more importantly theatre. Since my move to America my sound design credits include How To Succeed in Business Without Really Trying, Little Shop of Horrors, Nunsense, The Rocky Horror Show, and Godspell. Playing credits include The Rocky Horror Show, Tony and Tina's Wedding and various bands around southwest Florida. Special thanks go out to Jonee "Diva" Dee , Ashley "Rock on" J. , and to the guy who gave me a great deal on my first ever guitar!!!! And above all, my honey Joanne!
